Connie and her team did our wedding florals this fall and I cannot say enough good things! Connie blew my mind with how BEAUTIFUL the flowers were. Connie is THE luxury florist of the Okanagan. My wedding was August 18, 2023 (literal firestorm) at OAK Estate Winery. Connie got evacuated the day of, but showed up with my beautiful florals and moon arch regardless. She was a dream to work with from day one and perfectly curated my aesthetic. So happy with the florals for my wedding, they turned out so amazing. Connie was so wonderful to work with for our wedding florals! I appreciated all the time she spent with me over the phone to ensure she understood our exact vision for the wedding. She was very organized, professional, and worked within our budget! Our table arrangements were placed inside of lanterns and although she didn’t have one of them to practice with (since this was a destination wedding for us) she bought one with the same dimensions to ensure they fit perfectly. We really couldn’t be happier with how beautiful they turned out!

My husband and I just got married at Summerhill this past weekend and having Connie at Sweet Elegance do our florals was the best decision I have ever made. Connie exceed my expectations with all my florals, from the arch to me and my bridesmaids bouquets to the table arrangements. Throughout the day, I had a ton of compliments from my guests and even the servers at Summerhill.

We had Connie and her team create the floral designs for our wedding ceremony. Without a doubt, Connie and her team were an absolute dream to work with, from the very first time we had our consultation. As we had our wedding during Covid times, our wedding date and venue changed with very short notice. Not only did Connie accommodate a change in venue, she was able to travel to the lower mainland from Kelowna.
From the bridal bouquet to the floral backdrop arch, every detail was looked after. She did a fantastic job, and her designs were more than what I could have pictured. Connie has an unmatched talent without a doubt, but her personality and customer service is incomparable. We will definitely be using Sweet Elegance for future events.

Connie was amazing! On our consultation meeting, I could tell that she is passionate about her work. She was thorough and detailed, and was considerate of the budget that I had provided. I sent her an inspo picture of a flower arrangement I loved, and on the day of, they turned out even better than expected! Punctuality is definitely important on the wedding day and bridal bouquets were delivered at the hotel and flowers to the venue on time. Her instructions for care were also clear. I am so happy I decided to book with Sweet Elegance.

We just had our wedding in July, and Connie went above and beyond my expectations for our wedding flowers. I was in awe when I saw the design she came up with. The arrangements were so elegant, on theme and carefully thought out. She is a true professional and will make your wedding a dream come true with any budget. A HUGE thank you to Connie with Sweet Elegance Floral for making my floral dreams come true!!!! Connie spent a lot of time making sure I got exactly what I wanted without making me feel like was being too “needy” or inconvenient. She took the time to figure out just exactly which flowers I liked and didn’t like. She also took the time to make me a mood board with the ideas and colour scheme she had in mind so I knew exactly what she was planning with no surprises. We recently had our wedding in Lake Country and we had Connie make our floral arrangements, and I can't say enough good things about our experience with her! Connie is amazing! Connie was so great to work with! She helped me stay within budget while still achieving the overall vision plus more! Connie is extremely creative and was very helpful throughout the whole process. She is very flexible and always available to her clients. I would recommend her to everyone! A very thoughtful florist who makes the most beautiful bouquets!
Admittedly, I didn't do much due diligence in terms of looking at reviews or anything of the like, I picked Connie because she was local to the area and I liked the bouquets on her website when I quickly glanced at them.
The only thing I did in advance was sit down with another florist from my hometown (as I wasn't local to Kelowna, Vernon, or Lake Country) to take suggestions on what to ask a florist when you meet them. This step I highly recommend with anyone if you have the chance. I then sat down on Pinterest based on this meeting and pinned as many bouquets as my attention span and nerves could tolerate. I was told that eventually a pattern would emerge that would be beneficial to my potential florist to see. I owe a lot to this local florist.
I count myself extremely fortunate to have met Connie. She was very attentive to my questions. She also offered great suggestions on how to improve an idea I had or what would be the best approach going forward as I basically know nothing about flowers. Connie also offered a nice congratulatory gift that I have since used several times. She's very thoughtful. She was also very good to my husband who did not share the same interest in flowers as I had.
Additionally, Connie put together a really lovely and well thought out mood board, based on our conversations and some photos I had ready to go for her. This also enhanced my experience significantly. I then took the mood board to my other vendors (e.g. my hair stylist, my make up artist, rental company) so they could see what I was putting together and help tie pieces of the wedding celebration together as I'm not a creative gal. My other vendors also appreciated this step. Nothing is harder when you can't articulate your idea and nothing is easier when you can say, "can you do something that will match this idea?"
I was warned that just because you see a picture of a floral bouquet, does not necessarily mean you will get that floral bouquet. This advice was from my hometown florist. However, Connie's work on my favourite picture that I gave her was the closest thing I had envisioned for my big day.
I worked with probably a dozen or so vendors for the big day, and she executed it perfectly. I got way more than expected and I was really grateful for her dedication, time, and effort. Connie was also great in putting together a last minute addition for a recent floral girl addition, something I also highly appreciated as I was struggling to get everything in order.
In summary, I highly recommend this florist and think the residents of Lake Country are very fortunate to have her as part of their business community. Thanks again Connie :)

Amazing Florist! Connie went above and beyond for us! She understood our vision and didn't disappoint. The Flowers for the Brides Bouquet & Bridesmaids were amazing! The Greenery/petite flowers for our Table Centerpieces were perfect for our Rustic/Chic Vibe. She decorated our Trellis for the Ceremony and it was simply beautiful. So happy we found her! Connie at Sweet Elegance Floral design was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers! She had wonderful ideas, really listened to how I was describing my ideal wedding day to her. Her use of a blend of colours all worked so well together. She was easy to to adapt delivery times and places. She was conscious of the time of year and ensuring that our flowers were beautiful, fresh, and magical. Her prices were very realistic and she was conscious of budget. She created the most stunning centerpiece for our head table with flowing winter greens. I'm obsessed with my wedding flowers!
I would highly recommend Connie as a florist to any bride!!! The flowers I ordered for my wedding day this winter were more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined. I'm not sure I was the easiest bride to work with, as I didn't have a detailed idea of what I wanted. I put a lot on Connie to infer what I wanted from a couple of photos and a brief description. She was able to take my ideas and make them come to life in a way that was both exactly what I wanted, and so much better than I imagined. She contributed ideas for some extra touches (like little pearl accents) that made my flowers unique.
I have had countless compliments from everyone who has seen the photos and was in attendance at my wedding. Connie was right on time for delivery and was great at keeping in touch to finalize details with leading up to the wedding. It was a wonderful experience to have one aspect of the wedding be so easy and the outcome so perfect. Connie clearly has a great eye and is very talented at what she does!

This past month I was gifted an amazing floral arrangement from “Sweet Elegance”, a floral design shop in Lake Country. I have never seen such luxurious roses. The eight, very tall, Roses were nestled in an array of pussy willows and grounded, around the rim of the vase, with pristine, large, white carnations.
What made the roses so incredible was their size: far beyond any I have ever seen in a grocery or box store. Another outstanding factor was the unique color: a beautiful dusty rose hue. Lastly, the petals on the roses were much thicker and wider than other roses I have seen.
To top it all off, the roses remained fresh looking with their intense color, for more than two weeks. When the roses were finished, the remaining pussy willows and carnations lasted another ten days! This was without a doubt the most delightful, long lasting flower gift I have ever received. Thank you “Sweet Elegance”.
